Dr. DeGroot completed a fellowship in orthopaedic oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Children's Hospital in Boston, associated with the Harvard Medical School
Dr DeGroot has special training in new and clinically proven treatments for bone and soft tissue tumors. Minimally invasive surgical techniques can reduce recovery time and speed the return to normal activities.
New devices now available promise enhanced durability and fewer complications for patients with arthritis. Dr. DeGroot was the first to offer ceramic on ceramic total hip arthroplasty at his hospital.
